Weekly capacity calculator
Subtract meetings, administration, contingency and transition time from your workweek. Compare remaining capacity with estimated task effort.
Practical planning resources
Calculate realistic weekly capacity and place sample focus blocks around meetings with a minimum 15-minute buffer. No account or calendar access needed.
Use these small, account-free tools to challenge an unrealistic plan before you commit. The capacity calculator tests the weekly total. The buffer planner tests whether uninterrupted blocks can fit in a sample day. Neither connects to Google Calendar, sends invitations, or reserves real time. Inputs remain in this page and are discarded when you reload.
Subtract meetings, administration, contingency and transition time from your workweek. Compare remaining capacity with estimated task effort.
Try a one-day focus plan around sample meetings. Reserve at least 15 minutes between tasks and meetings, and see which work cannot fit.
“Do I have ten hours available?” and “Where can I put a two-hour session?” are different questions. A fragmented ten hours may contain no two-hour opening. Start with the weekly total, then test the sessions that matter most. Keep meetings and transition time separate so neither disappears inside an optimistic estimate.
After the calculation, keep the result as a proposal. Check your actual calendar, your working-time policy, other people's availability and any travel or out-of-office periods. Only a confirmed event in the intended calendar is a reservation.
