THE DECISION
Three problems in the current process:
1.
2.
3.

Must-pass gates chosen BEFORE testing:
Convenience criteria:
Cost ceiling and approved payment authority:
Authoritative system during pilot:
Rollback owner:

FICTIONAL FIXTURE
A: Draft a decision note, 60 minutes.
B: Review a proposal, 45 minutes.
C: Prepare a recommendation, 180 minutes, deadline Friday.
Existing meeting: 10:00-11:00.
Required minimum gap: 15 minutes.
Add an afternoon unavailable period; record its exact zone and dates.
No real customer details or confidential attachments are needed.

EVIDENCE SCALE
Pass / Partial / Fail / Not tested. Use Not applicable only with a reason.
Separate documented capability, observed once, and repeated under change.
Record facts and timestamps; do not turn estimates into claimed hours saved.

TEN TESTS
For EACH numbered test, fill:
  Input / settings:
  Expected result:
  Actual result and timestamp:
  Application evidence:
Provider or recipient evidence where relevant:
Result / limitation / next action:

1. BUFFER
A 60-minute action after the 10:00-11:00 meeting starts no earlier
than 11:15 when a 15-minute separation is required. Check both sides.

2. CHANGED MEETING
Add a conflict after a block exists. Inspect rescheduling, timing,
old event identity, duplicates, and unresolved constraints.

3. OUT OF OFFICE
Test a timed interval and an all-day absence in the correct zone.
Inspect new work and already-created reservations separately.

4. INSUFFICIENT CAPACITY
Give the planner more effort than fits. An explicit unresolved state
may be correct; no silently ignored deadline or unavailable time.

5. DEADLINE VERSUS EFFORT
Move a session without changing the intended Friday deadline or
pretending that total remaining effort has disappeared.

6. PARTIAL PROGRESS
Complete one step or session, not the whole commitment. Inspect
remaining work, completion state, and subsequent reservations.

7. OWNERSHIP AND WAITING
With consent, assign an action and identify the dependency/review point.
Ask the recipient to explain the next move from their authorized view.

8. SAVE AND CONFLICT
Use harmless data for a network interruption or stale-tab conflict.
Preserve recovery information before reload. Check the saved result.

9. EXPORT AND RESTORE
Inspect a private export for fields and readability. Test reversible
restore separately. Export does not imply full automatic re-import.

10. SUPPORT AND ACCESSIBILITY
Find the support path; prepare a redacted failure report. Check critical
controls with your keyboard, zoom, and assistive technology as relevant.
