[ ] One learning captured without exposing customer data

FICTIONAL WORKED EXAMPLE — NOT A CUSTOMER RECORD
Issue: weekly export unavailable; other reporting remains usable.
Owner: support lead. Counterpart: engineering lead.
Next customer update: Wednesday 14:00 in the team's agreed timezone.
This exact update time is a communication agreement, not inferred from a date-only task.

1. Consolidate symptom | Support lead | 30 min
Close when engineering accepts the reproduction summary.
2. Confirm recovery option | Support lead / engineering lead | 45 min
Waiting on engineering lead; close with option, risk, and next checkpoint.
3. Send Wednesday update | Support lead | 15 min
Close when approved update is sent through the support channel.
4. Verify agreed recovery | Support lead | 30 min
Close when acceptance evidence is recorded in the source case.

Total support effort: 120 minutes (2 hours).
Engineering effort is separate. Transition time is separate.
Escalation rule: if no credible recovery option exists at the checkpoint,
ask the designated decision-maker to choose scope, resources, or a revised commitment.
Do not silently move the promised customer update.
